Scrapbooking LO
I was imagining to do decoupaging but with real pictures not the usual scenic ones that I love to do, so I was browsing in my laptop for my old photos with my lovely daughter and I had found this photo that I really loved, so on with the printer with multiple prints and cutting it out, matting and layering on my 12x12 pearlised paper so this was the outcome on my project. Atikah do grew so fast .. me and hubby is now trying for a new addition of our family insyalah.
Chrocheted Beanie
Hubby was requesting a beanie hat for him which he said has much more purpose than my chrocheted apple cover .. ha ha but I do loved my apple cover so cute. So it took me nearly a week to finishes his beanie hat. The outcome he said he loved it! And to show his appreciation he did wear his beanie all day yesterday. It was a simple Treble stitches and going in rounds (this is UK abbreviation of stitches - I think the US version would be Double Chrochet) with the last stitch would be Double Chrochet (US would be Single Chrochet)

Relfection
The final booklet; I felt the initial single flower looks so lonely thereby I add in an extra silk flower
Decoupaging the pictures to have that 3D effect
Dilemma of packing
If I got a middle name .. I reckon it would a Procasinate .. as I always procasinating all my work or nearly everything that I would venture to. Hubby's been nagging last night to start packing my the stuff in the apartment into the boxes .. Since I know that the delivery or mover company are only coming to pick up all our stuff just between 15th till 20th July .. Its seems the right thing to do - procasinate he he.

Sweltering heat of June
The last two day there was a heatwave of up to 30 degrees celcius like yesterday. Due to the sweltering heat luckily I had bought a standing fan from argos which I had successfully asembled it by myself (ta love for helping - i do hope my better half detect the sarcasm .. he he) The only thing he help is in commenting that 'hopefully dear the fan head does not flew off when we put it to maximum speed' .. but as a fully recently qualified health and safety practitioner I had declared it myself that the fan is safe to be used as all measures had been taken to ensure that all screws were tighten and check all is in place like the instruction manual stated. We tried it on all day Sunday and it had survived the night and it is now announced that my fan is a success. Will upload the picture of my fan once I had taken a picture of it.
But today the heat seems to be dessipated and now it is a dull cold summer once again .. I dont know why but this year is the worst summer since the many summers that we had experianced. I was spose to put all our jackets into the storage to wait till september but sometimes it is still chilly on certain days.

Being sway to one task
I had an exhaustive shopping marathon afternoon today. I was thinking of just buying a 'you got a baby' card for my new nephew but I endup hitting the shops. In the end of the day I did not even go to Clintons to buy the card! (Remind to oneself tomorrow need to buy that card - and must put self restrain - do not enter any shops along the way). Bought £50 worth of toiletries from Superdrug .. then could not resist to go in to Lush (I reckon the sweet smellies wafting from the store reel me in and bought another £60 worth of soap, perfume and hairwash) Then I couldn't resist myself going into Primark bought this colourful bowl with matching spoons, picnic bag, his&hers pillow case, pjs for lil Hana and few additions to the endless supply to my wardrobe (Another reminder to oneself please do not buy anymore new cloths).

Reflective Mood
Today I am quite in a reflective mood .. my dear friend is currently having a rough patch in her life at the moment. If I were back in Brunei I would like to call and meet her up just to give her the biggest hug (just that and not say anything). I would not like to say that everything would be alright because I know its not going to be alright for a long time .. but I truly believe that time will do heal all hurt and pain. Deep in my heart my only hope she would find true happiness someday.
This provoke my thought process that we should counted our blessing and weighted it in gold (saying that all blessing are very precious indeed) and I might say that I am matured enough to truly believe that every turning has a silver lining. I might sometimes have regrets of the things I did in the past but its no use to dwell too much in the past and need to move forward as its only with our strength, resilience and determination that hopefully we could be carving a happier future.

June 2011
Its the start of June 2011 which is very significant as I embarked myself as a fully qualified Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) from Nottingham Trent University. It would be interesting how my future would unfold or would life would be still the same when I would be going back working in the old office. Only time will tell. In the meantime I just found out a new hobby crocheting but I am still not that confident in posting the outcomes of my crocheted projects. Maybe in time will upload those pictures. But my chrocheting activity will have to go on halt for the time being as I need to clear out the spare room since my best friend would be coming here to Nottingham for her two weeks holidays from Brunei Darussalam. My spare room does not have any resemblance of a comfy spare room, it looks more like a storage room with all my crafting materials, winter cloths (need to remind oneself to donate those I would not necessearily need and never fits any more to the charity shops nearby - I did try to believe myself that I would be reverting back to a size 12 instead of the current sie 14-16 that I am but then that is just wishful hoping he he)
