Eid Greeting Cards
My daughter Atikah got an art project to create an Eid Greeting Card for her Art teacher. So off we went to this Crafting Store called Shabby Chic in the bustling area of Gadong called The Mall. As I was used to the vastness of my lovely Hobbycraft center, it seems such a small shop with limited choices of papercrafts but sufficient enough for her art project, so we bought 12x12 patterned papers, stickers, rolled adhesives and envelopes. The first card with the mosque on it was the actually art project and the second card was for her best friend. She sticks the lettering by herself and all mummy ever did was folded the paper into cards and inked the edges with my coloured stamps
Ramadhan Wishes
Its been a long time I have not updated this blog though I am not sure anyone is following me through this blog but as a personal outlet of expression it is always therapeutic and releases my stressess. Its now two weeks into the holy month of Ramadhan. It is such a bless and joy that me and hubby are back in Brunei enjoying the hustle and bustle of fasting here with family and friends. Hubby will be going back next week to finishes his work but I will be staying till the first few days of Eid. I know people saying that it does not matter where you are as long the responsibilities of fasting and observing the holy month is done but if given the choices being back in your own country engulf in the sense of familiarity and enjoyment being close with love ones are joyous estactic feelings that could never be describe in words. Happy Ramadhan everyone may this year Ramadhan would be filled with joy and happiness in seeking our devotion and contented to Allah, God Al-Mighty.
