I am a fan of his blog and had bought one of his books on the compilations of his articles. The book is very informative and giving an insight on the historical and important event throuhout the history of Brunei.
It is an interesting read and this is the first time that I had knew of such existance of the emergency rule of our beloved country. Thank you very much for the blogger to share the radio transcript.
The Daily Brunei Resources: Brunei - 50 years under emergency rule: This is a transcript of a radio interview conducted and broadcasted by Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) Radio Australia

Dim Sum Anyone?
This is from the same book as my Mandarin Orange Crochetted Foodies called Gourmet Crochet. Will upload the patterns steps when I am free and less hectic with other committments. I love dim sum especially siew mai. Hubster was saying to me a few days ago that I should crochet something useful instead of these which has no purpose at all.
Mandarin Orange Chrochet
Last week I had crochetted a mandarin orange from my left over bright orange yarn. It was adopted from a book called Gourmet Crochet but actually from a tomato but I had change the yarn from red to bright orange since I love eating mandarin oranges.
Will upload the steps on how to crochet your own mandarin orange later. So stay tune :)
What You Need To Crochet A Mandarin Orange
3.5mm Crochet
Bright Orange Yarn
Green Yarn for the top stem.
In this project I only use a Double Crochet (UK) / Single Crochet (US) and finishing in decreasing my stiches

- Cut when the cake cools down so that the layering would not break.
This recipe I had adapted from a recipe book calked Warisan Umi where I omitted one ingredient which is Tasty Biscuits as I felt that I dont want the taste of crunchy biscuit in my cake.

Back to Office after my Customised Programme on Rapid Assessment & SIMEX Design for NDMC
This is what I attended (an unscheduled training) during a week long absentia from 1st May til 05th May at IBM, UBD. This course is designed for the early responders at the relevant goverment agencies. It is mainly classroom oriented course with practicals on how to use Mission Kits when going for deployment. And it ended with an exercise simulated by NDMC - I feel like I am an in that show called 'the amazing race' kinda feeling. The mission is to collect important data which called "Disaster Assessment Survey" for the Assessment Team - my team was called BruneiErat2 (Alpha2).

Apple 3D puzzle
The family went to the Book Fair at the International Convention Center as the daughter was persistant to go there. After several cancellations of the trip due to the heavy moonsoon rains we finally went there last Monday.
There was not many booth to visit I reckon there are less than 30 booths putting up their wares. The daughter end up buying a craft sewing set of making a felt doll. I ended up buying the 3D puzzle sets that when you had completed it turn into paperweights and key chain sets. Last night it took me nearly 2 hours to complete the puzzle (not bad for a first attempt). So here is the outcome of my first 3D puzzle which eventually become my new paperweight on my desk in the office
